My spouse took a picture of a hippopotamus at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom Park and then I painted it in watercolor. It is rare for a hippo to raise its head above water, but my spouse managed to capture one with it’s head out of the water and opening its mouth. A great gift for a child or an animal lover and it can be partnered with other paintings I have of butterflies, lions and tigers for a really nice collection.
