This is one of my favorite paintings, showing a young boy in a Pride parade in Atlanta, GA.  The boy is marching in the parade with his two dads and obviously is very proud of that and his dads. He is actually looking back at them in this scene. It would be good if all parents could raise their children where the kids felt this way about them. When I see this picture, I think we need more parents like this, not less.
