This is one of my earliest paintings. I saw a picture of a butterfly in a magazine and wanted to see if I could paint it, capturing the vivid colors, it’s delicate wing structure and even the feel of the pollen on its wings. It makes me feel the wonder and majesty of life and creation when I look at it.
